Best Time to Visit Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve

The reserve is open from October to June and closed during the monsoon (July–September) for the animals' breeding season.

Winter (November–February): Pleasant weather with misty mornings, making it the most popular season for visitors.

Summer (April–June): Temperatures can exceed 40°C, but this is widely regarded as the best window for tiger sightings, as animals frequent waterholes to cool off.

Monsoon (July–September): The park is largely closed, though a few zones may reopen for limited safaris as the forest turns lush and green.

By Air: The nearest airport is Jaipur International Airport, roughly a 3–4 hour drive away, with regular domestic and international connections.

By Rail: Sawai Madhopur Railway Station is the main gateway to the reserve, just a short drive from the park entrance, and is well connected to Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Kota by major trains.

By Road: Ranthambhore is linked by well-maintained highways to Jaipur, Kota, and Delhi, with state buses, private coaches, and taxis available for the journey.
